This is a great video message and you are so right. Lots of people think they have to travel to tweet-ups and conferences to meet people. I like to tell people to get local. I joined my social media club in Raleigh just so I could have friends LOCALLY and meet new people. I think it makes me a better HR person to chill w/people outside of my comfort zone, but more importantly, I want to be a better friend to other people. 

Thanks again, Joan. For future winners: bacon doesn&#039;t travel well unless it&#039;s packed in copious amounts of dry ice. Especially in the summer. I&#039;ve learned this. (yuck)</description>
